“The launch of the Backup Plus Ultra Slim builds on Seagate’s rich history of award -winning innovation to give users even more c apacity in an incredibly small form factor,” remarked Seagate Consumer Group vice president Tim Butcher in a related statement. Seagate revealed today its Backup Plus Ultra Slim mobile hard drive, which, astonishingly enough, packs 2TB of local storage space into a 9.6mm enclosure. That makes it 50-percent thinner than other 2TB drive selections on the market.
